about me

Hiđź‘‹!! My name is Linda and I am a classically French-trained chef.

I received my training and graduated, with honors, from L’Academie de Cuisine in Gaithersburg, MDMy passion is educating people about food and love cooking alongside my clients, showing them just how easy it can be to whip up a delicious meal! Check out my cooking parties page to learn more about what I offer.

I was born and raised in Germany, immigrating the Charleston, WV as a young teenager. After two years, we relocated again to Annapolis, MD, where I still live today with my husband and two kids, although I have left and come back a few times.

I studied communication and economics at American University {which is where I met and fell in love with my husband}, and started working in Hospitality PR after graduation. I quickly realized my passion for food and that I wanted to take that passion and learn as much as I could about it. With a lot of support from family and friends, I decided to leave my job and attend culinary school.

After graduation, I started teaching cooking classes in Northern Virginia, before relocating to Germany in 2013 with my husband, daughter. I started my own company while living abroad, teaching classes in both German and English. As of 2016, we are back in Annapolis, have since welcomed a son to the mix and I am enjoying creating custom parties for locals.

I strongly believe that anyone can pick up a knife, or kitchen utensil, and learn how to cook. It doesn’t matter if you spent your childhood watching your grandma in the kitchen, or if you’ve never touched anything but a microwave. If you’re interested in cooking a delicious meal, you can! In the end, even mistakes while cooking can lead to wonderful meals. Don’t be afraid to try, as I guide you, teach you, and help you to have fun in the kitchen.
